AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE. PUBLIC PURPOSE.A proposal by AlphaBravo

Business & entrepreneurship

A family tamale business found two very different uses for AI.

Christian Ortega built a customer tool. Xochitl Ortega used language support to communicate with confidence.

A useful business technology does not always begin with a transformation plan. Sometimes it begins with customers asking where to find the tamales.

The need: useful technology that starts with the owner’s problem

Knowing a customer’s problem and knowing how to build software are different skills. So are understanding a business and explaining it in another language. AI assistance gives owners a way to work on those gaps without losing control of the idea or the message.

These are different needs, and a useful AI service should make both approachable. One person wants a clearer message today; another wants to develop a small application over several weeks. Neither should have to begin by mastering the entire field of artificial intelligence.

The broader opportunity includes independent professionals, established local employers and growing companies. The first step is to identify a task whose result is useful, reviewable and worth the effort required to maintain it.

A family business in California

An OpenAI profile describes Christian Ortega of The Original Tamale Co. building a searchable farmers-market tracker with ChatGPT despite having no previous coding experience. The family business operates in California, with a storefront in Pacoima. In the same account, Xochitl Ortega describes starting with Spanish to work through English wording, tone and clarity for business conversations. Read OpenAI's business profiles.

These are supplier-published customer accounts, not an independent audit of sales or software quality. Still, they illustrate two distinct forms of agency: making a tool for a problem you understand, and expressing what you already know in another language.

Separate communication help from software responsibility

For communication, an owner would start with verified business facts: opening hours, product availability, an event location or the terms of an offer. The assistant would help produce a draft for the intended audience. Someone familiar with the business would check that it has not invented a promise or changed the meaning.

For language support, the task would include reviewing tone and intent. A message that reads smoothly can still misunderstand a customer’s question. Important translations would receive appropriate human review, especially when prices, conditions or commitments are involved.

For a small customer application, the process would begin with a sketch and fictional data. The owner would work with coding assistance to create a prototype, test it on a phone and ask whether a customer can complete the intended task. Before launch, the application would need accurate data, accessible navigation and a plan for handling errors.

Think beyond the first successful demonstration

Who will update next month’s schedule? How will someone correct a wrong location? What happens if the owner loses access to the development tool? These questions help distinguish a useful business asset from a prototype that only worked once.

A practical learning program would cover exports, backups, access control and basic testing in the context of the application. It would also help an owner recognize when the project needs a qualified developer rather than another generated patch.

Measure a useful result

A business pilot should test whether customers can complete the intended task and whether the owner can maintain the tool a month later. For language support, people fluent in both languages should assess whether the intended meaning survives. Revenue effects would need separate evidence.

American Super Intelligence would not take over a company's website, promise instant software expertise or claim a relationship with the Ortega family. American Super Intelligence would provide tools and instruction that help owners build, check and maintain their own work.

How Liberty will support business independence

LibertyGPT will provide everyday drafting, explanation and learning. Liberty Frontier’s coding capabilities will help owners and developers move from a defined idea to a tested prototype through the hosted service. Liberty OSS will give American businesses models they can run and adapt under explicit release licenses.

That open-model route will create options for specialized products and private applications. A business can choose its own hosting and integrations and keep control over the information it supplies. Larger companies can build on the same public foundations with the resources their operations require.

Education will connect those options to practical skills. The goal is practical business independence: owners who understand the work, maintain useful tools and decide how their business uses AI as its needs change.
