FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF WAR · SENTINEL INSTALLATIONS

Self-sufficient Super Intelligence at every base.

On-site Super Intelligence for military installations: compute, models, power and security sized to wartime needs, fully capable even when cut off from every other site.

A capability that cannot be cut off

FORTRESS America, established by the Secretary of War on September 30, 2026, aims for “a homeland that cannot be starved out, shut down, or cut off.” Sentinel Installations would extend that aim to Super Intelligence. Each substantial military installation would operate its own SI capability, self-sufficient and fully capable, sized to the installation’s wartime needs.

The Department of War is already building intelligence capabilities into planning, intelligence, logistics, training and base operations, and its January 2026 strategy memorandum calls for compute “from datacenters to the edge.” Most of that capability still assumes a connection. An installation cut off from every other site would need the same state-of-the-art capability without one.

What each installation would have

  • Compute and datacenter: accelerators, servers and a hardened on-site facility.
  • Models: a complete set of Liberty Sentinel models, current as of the installation’s last connection.
  • Power: on-site generation and storage, so computing continues when outside supply does not.
  • Access: assistants for staff, tutors for every service member and tools for base operations.
  • Security: an isolated environment with no reach-back dependency and access controlled by the installation.
  • Operators: qualified people and spares on site to run and maintain the system.

Each installation’s authority would set its sizing, power mix and security. A large depot or airbase and a small station would not need the same capacity.

One system, every day

Sentinel Installations is not a separate wartime mode. It would be the same system an installation uses every day, so staff and service members already know it and the installation exercises it continuously.

If the installation is cut off, it does not change modes or lose capability. It keeps operating from its last connected state until it reconnects. Data produced on the installation stays within the installation’s authority.

Supplied by the national campuses

The six proposed national campuses will develop and evaluate the Liberty models delivered to installations. While an installation is connected, it receives the latest evaluated models, so what it holds at the moment of isolation is state of the art. Independence from outside supply is the deliberate trade against receiving every update the moment it is released. Until campus capacity is available, models would come from the qualified leased or federal capacity described on the infrastructure page.

For commanders, base operations and every service member

  • Commanders and staff: planning, intelligence synthesis, logistics, readiness and maintenance knowledge.
  • Base operations: cyber defense, maintenance and medical support.
  • Service members: an assistant and tutor available to everyone on the installation, so training and professional skills continue while isolated. See the learning program.

Start in the United States, then worldwide

Deployment would begin at installations in the United States, then extend to U.S. military presence worldwide where substantial assets are located. Early installations would show how sizing, power, security and model delivery work before the capability is repeated at scale.

Boundaries

Installation systems would operate under the responsible military authority, with human authority over mission decisions and data kept within that authority. They would remain separate from LibertyGPT’s public service. The first installations would define their own approvals, test and evaluation, and operating limits.

No Department of War sponsorship, requirement or authorization is established, and the FORTRESS America memorandum does not mention Super Intelligence. Classified material, controlled technical information and sensitive installation details do not belong on this website or its contact form.

Begin with an appropriate discussion

Identify the installation or command, the first workflows, the data authority, the power and facility constraints and the measure of success. The first inquiry should establish a suitable channel for further discussion.
